The finest hotels: I recognize the importance of having a comfortable setting to return to at the end of an exciting day. The hotels on my tours are always chosen for their central location, ambiance, service and value. We will always be within short walking distance of the shops, museums and other local attractions. Many of the hotels I select are amongst the best in Europe.

European dining at its best: Meals are an important part of the travel experience. Culinary skills are as much a reflection of a nation's culture as the art and history. Dinners are assured to be fresh and savory, served in a comfortable setting that allows you to share the day's events with your fellow travelers. Breakfast each morning is served buffet style with a variety of fresh rolls and breads, yogurts, cereals, meats, cheeses, fruit and eggs. Also included is orange juice and a choice of freshly brewed coffee or tea.

Small groups: A smaller group allows everyone to meet new friends and to receive personal attention from the tour escort. It also allows for more comfort in our large motorcoach and better service in hotels and restaurants. You will be traveling with people who are enjoyable companions and who share common interests.

Since 1974: This will be my 35th season of offering escorted tours. A reputation for value and quality has brought continuous praise from satisfied repeat travelers some of who have been to Europe with me as often as twenty times.

Gerhard Meng was born in Germany, moved to Canada at the age of five, returned to Germany a year later and has not stopped traveling since. Travel has been by plane, boat, bus, auto, truck, ferry, motor scooter, bicycle, foot, horse, elephant, tortoise, train, taxi, hydro-foil, pedi-cab, helicopter and funicular. Gerhard has been to Europe 178 times and most years spends five to six months on the continent. He has also explored all other continents, except Antarctica, visiting more than 100 different countries.
